HMP3’s mission statement is focused around preparing undergraduates for medical school and beyond by offering valuable experience, opportunities, and resources, including mentoring, insight on different career options, and standardized test preparations. At this event, Summer Internship Opportunities, a variety of health professionals will provide information about summer internship, volunteer and research opportunities. The purpose of this event is to give a platform to undergraduates where they can network and interact with these professionals to indicate their interest in certain opportunities and build their resume for medical school. At the event, each speaker will have 15 minutes to describe what opportunities they are offering, followed by a 5 minute question and answer session. After every 20 minutes, the speakers will rotate and a new speaker will come and talk about the opportunities that they have to offer. After the event, HMP3 members will be offering food from Rubio’s to the students and speakers.
