Translational medicine is the bringing together of otherwise disparate specialties for the common goal of moving cutting edge research into clinical application. Translational Medicine Day hopes to bring together peoples of many specialties who are interested in modern healthcare and allow for cross-exploration of research to bring translational changes in medicine. At the event, hope to see participation from professors, Industry professionals and other members of the biomedical field. They can ideally provide insights into the field due to their participation, and hopefully interact with undergraduate students. Given these goals, we will be planning a series of exploration blocks. In these blocks, we will see a diverse set of interactive talks, panels, industry workshops, and discussion periods, hopefully allowing attendees to explore their interests. This year, we are expanding the number and breadth of sessions, to allow for more exposure to different specialties. Finally, we will be showcasing labs in the event to allow interdisciplinary exploration for undergraduates hoping to pursue and display their research.

Max capacity of each room is 150, food capped at $335. We will only fund 450 flyers. AS Logo must be on all advertising and event material. Event capped at $900.
